Tokyo Drifter (1966)

Synopsis:
A classic Japanese action/crime-drama, starring Tetsuya Watari (who also sings the title song) and directed by Seijun Suzuki. It's about a gangster who's looking to go straight. But, when a rival Yakuza makes trouble for his former boss and others close to him, his sense of loyalty and code of honor compel him to seek vengeance. Filled with striking visuals, heartfelt emotion and some wild action, this film has been cited as being the major influence of a number of films.
