Heidi und Peter (1955)

Synopsis:
Heidi lives with her grandfather in the Swiss Alps in the summer, and she and Peter play and tend the goats. In the winter, she stays with Peter's mother, and they attend school. One day a letter arrives from Heidi's friend, Klara Sesemann, an ill youngster who spends most of her time in a wheelchair, stating she is coming for a visit. The teacher, who has been having trouble with making Peter study, and Heidi's grandfather decides to pose as Santa Claus and scare him into studying. It is successful and with Heidi's help, Peter learns how to read. With the arrival of summer, Klara appears along with her grandmother, and her prim governess Rottenmeyer. Heidi's grandfather suggests she stay with Heidi, while the governess stays in the village to visit and keep an eye on Klara. Peter is resentful and destroys Klara's wheelchair. Synopsis:
In einem freundlichen kleinen Häuschen am Waldrand wohnt eine Witwe mit ihren beiden Kindern Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot. Die beiden erleben viele schöne Abenteuer und treffen eines Tages sogar einen Prinzen, der auf der Suche nach seinem Bruder und einem verlorenen Schatz ist.
Die Geschwister wollen dem Prinzen helfen, doch das ist gar nicht so einfach: Ein Zwerg mit einem langen roten Bart will das verhindern, ein freundlicher Bär will helfen, weil die Kinder so nett zu ihm sind - und schließlich spielt auch ein mächtiger Zauber noch eine Rolle...
Doch am Ende wendet sich alles zum Guten und alle reiten gemeinsam zum Schloß, um dort glücklich und zufrieden zu leben.

Schneewittchen und die sieben Zwerge (1955)

Synopsis:
Die Königstochter Schneewittchen ist von bezaubernder Schönheit: ihre Haut ist weiß wie Schnee, ihre Lippen rot wie Blut und ihr Haar schwarz wie Ebenholz. Nachdem die Königin bei der Geburt ihrer Tochter gestorben war, hatte der König erneut geheiratet. Doch Schneewittchens Stiefmutter ist eine eitle und selbstsüchtige Frau, die um jeden Preis die Schönste im Land sein will. Daher befiehlt sie dem Jäger, Schneewittchen zu töten.
Aber dieser bringt die Tat nicht übers Herz und überlässt das unschuldige Königskind dem wilden Wald. Dort findet das schöne Mädchen Unterschlupf bei den sieben Zwergen, die es behüten und über alles lieben. Doch als die böse Stiefmutter durch ihren Zauberspiegel davon erfährt, verkleidet sie sich, um Schneewittchen selbst zu töten.

Synopsis:
Der alte König ist des Regierens müde und widmet sich lieber seinem Schlossgarten. Dabei verliert er die Staatskasse völlig aus den Augen. Als der Müller Mehlsack ihm von seiner Tochter Marie vorschwärmt und behauptet, sie könne Stroh zu Gold spinnen, lädt der Herrscher die junge Frau sogleich auf sein Schloss ein, um sich von ihren außergewöhnlichen Fähigkeiten zu überzeugen. Die verzweifelte Marie wird in eine Kammer voller Stroh gesperrt, das sie bis zum Morgen in Gold verwandeln soll. Ihre einzige Rettung ist der Herr des Waldes. Das zwergenhafte Wesen eilt zwar sofort herbei, stellt an seine Hilfe jedoch eine grausame Bedingung.

Synopsis:
Kashi travels by an ill-fated plane, which crashes on the outskirts of an isolated city that is ruled by women, who worship Sanga, their God. Kashi is rescued by pretty Soni and taken to her home, where she lives with her widowed dad, and brother, Hira. Since the roads are blocked, Kashi is unable to return home, and in order to continue to stay here, he must first obtain permission from the Raj Rani, the ultimate ruler. He meets with her and she finds him attractive and charming, and invites him to stay with her at her palace and sing for him, which he does. Kashi and Soni have given their hearts to each other, they meet secretly, with Soni disguised as a man, Shibu. Watch what happens when Raj Rani finds out that a Kashi is ignoring her love for a mere peasant.

Synopsis:
Wearing torn Japanese shoes, English trousers, a red Russian cap, and a Hindustani heart, orphaned Ranbir Raj comes to Bombay to make his fortune. He pawns his gold medal, gambles with the money, loses everything, & the balance is pick-pocketed. He ends up on the beach, meets with Vidya Shastri, a teacher who runs a private school, and both fall in love. Ranbir gets a job in a laundry. When he goes to deliver some clothes to Maya, she notices that he has a way with cards, gets him to accompany her to a casino of sorts, where he wins Rs.20000/-, which unfortunately is pocketed by Maya. Then a rich industrialist, Sonanand Dharmachand, approaches Ranbir, hires him to work for him, and soon Ranbir is on his way to a wealthy life. Vidya gets a first hand look at this wealthy life, and decides to break up with him. Sonachand teaches Ranbir that in order to make money one must never discriminate between the rich and poor. So they set out to offer homes to the homeless for Rs.100/-. Watch what happens when Ranbir finds out that Sonachand has been setting him up to be the fall guy.

Tarantula (1955)

Synopsis:
Professor Gerald Deemer has been working on a special nutrient to help ease a
predicted food shortage that is expected to come with the increase in human
population. His experiments have been moderately successful but there have been
some failures as a result. One day while he is gone two of his colleagues inject
themselves with the nutrient with disastrous results and die a few days later.
One however goes mad and injects Deemer with the formula. During a struggle, a
giant tarantula injected with the formula escapes its cage and grows even larger
and starts to attack cattle as well as human beings.
