Synopsis:
During the reign of the Tang dynasty in China, a secret organization called "The House of the Flying Daggers" rises and opposes the government. A police officer called Leo sends officer Jin to investigate a young dancer named Mei, claiming that she has ties to the "Flying Daggers". Leo arrests Mei, only to have Jin breaking her free in a plot to gain her trust and lead the police to the new leader of the secret organization. But things are far more complicated than they seem.

Khamoshi (1969)

Synopsis:
The Story is about Colonel Sahab who is a doctor in a psychiatry ward and Nurse Radha who is a heart-broken after a civilian patient, Dev Kumar, whom she cared for, pouring out her love and affection, leaves the hospital, as she had been unable to keep her heart separate from her professional work and had fallen in love with her patient. Next Arun Choudury, a writer and poet enters as a patient, suffering acute mania after being rejected by his lover, Sulekha. After refusing to take his care, Radha relents and starts nursing him. In between while caring for Arun she reminisces her past and tells a story of how she took care of injured brave army soldiers when she was posted in Laddakh during the Sino-Indian war of 1962.

Sadma (1983)

Synopsis:
Sadma is a 1983 Indian film directed by Balu Mahendra and stars Kamal Haasan, Sridevi,Gulshan Grover, Silk Smitha & Paintal with music composed by Ilayaraaja.A young woman receives a head injury in an automobile accident and becomes like a six-year-old. She leaves the hospital unattended and ends up in a brothel. She is rescued by a young man who takes her to his home in the mountains. Meanwhile, her parents and the police are looking for her, and just as she is cured, they come to take her back to Bombay. The film is a remake of the 1982 Tamil film Moondram Pirai. Sridevi's autistic child-woman performance won her the Best actress Filmfare Award and National Award nomination as well as receiving State awards, Kamal's performance in the film's famous climax scene won him the National Award in the Tamil version. The film however flopped at the box office as it was considered way ahead of its time. But over the years the movie has achieved cult status and is regarded as an all time classic featuring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi's career best performances.

Nang Nak (1999)

Synopsis:
Nang Nak is a romantic tragedy and horror film directed by Nonzee Nimibutr in 1999 through Buddy Film and Video Production Co. in Thailand, based on a legend. It features the life of a devoted ghost wife and the unsuspecting husband. In a rural village in Thailand, Mak (Winai Kraibutr) is sent to fight in a war and leaves his pregnant wife, Nak (Intira Jaroenpura). Mak is injured and barely survives. He returns home to his doting wife and child, or so he thinks. Mysterious events occur around the village. A friend visits and sees Mak living together with Nak. The villagers, knowing that Nak died in childbirth several months previously, realize what is happening, that Mak is spellbound by Nak's ghost. People who attempt
to tell Mak, or who know too much, are killed by the Nak's ghost, who becomes more aggressive due to her inability to accept her early death and her desperate desire to stay with her husband. Toward the end, Mak discovers what is happening, and shocked, flees to the local temple. The villagers attempt several solutions, including burning down the house and in the end summon a ghost exorciser to destroy her forehead (this would destroy her soul as well as the ghost). The country's most respected Buddhist monk (in the film Somdej To) arrives in the final moments, takes charge and in a tearful farewell Nak repents, leaving her husband to live his life. Somdejto has the centre of her forehead cut out and made a girdle brooch. He wore it till his last day. The epilogue states that it later became in possession of His Royal Highness Prince Chumbhorn Ketudomsak. Then, handed down to many others, nondetected. Until now nobody knows where the item is.

Love Story (1970)

Synopsis:
Harvard Law student Oliver Barrett IV and music student Jennifer Cavilleri share a chemistry they cannot deny - and a love they cannot ignore. Despite their opposite backgrounds, the young couple put their hearts on the line for each other. When they marry, Oliver's wealthy father threatens to disown him. Jenny tries to reconcile the Barrett men, but to no avail. Oliver and Jenny continue to build their life together. Relying only on each other, they believe love can fix anything. But fate has other plans. Soon, what began as a brutally honest friendship becomes the love story of their lives.

The film, well-known as a tragedy, is considered one of the most romantic of all time by the American Film Institute (#9 on the list), and was followed by a sequel, Oliver's Story during 1978. Love Story starred Ryan O'Neal, Ali MacGraw, and Ray Milland and also is the film debut of Tommy Lee Jones with a minor role.

The novel also includes the double meaning of a love story between Oliver and his father.

Ina - Teen love and sex (1982)

Synopsis:
Ina, the famous IV Sasi directed movie is a fantasy tale about teenage love and escapades.
Vinu (Master Raghu) and Ani (Devi) are schoolmates and gud friends. Ani is the illegitimate daughter of her mother. So her stepfather doesn't love her. Vinu's mother is no more, and his step mother's attittude is also very heart breaking for him.
Both Vinu and Ani are very sad in their house.
Accidently they get a chance to escape frm their home.
And finally they end up in a forest.
In the forest they meet a widow, who is staying alone.
The lady befriends them and take gud care of them.

The children slowly grew up and their love also develops and finally ends up in physical relation.
The lady marries them off, and she dies.
Then the hero and heroine strive hard in the forest for a living and succeeds in setting up a living with the help of a retired Major who also is very supportive to them.

The Song Of Sparrows (2008)

Synopsis:
Karim works at an ostrich farm outside of Tehran, Iran. He leads a simple and contented life with his family in his small house, until one day when one of the ostriches runs away. Karim is blamed for the loss and is fired from the farm. Soon after, he travels to the city in order to repair his elder daughter's hearing aid but finds himself mistaken for a motorcycle taxi driver. Thus begins his new profession: ferrying people and goods through heavy traffic. But the people and material goods that he deals with daily starts to transform Karim's generous and honest nature, much to the distress of his wife and daughters. It is up to those closest to him to restore the values that he had once cherished.

Aradhana (1969)

Synopsis:
Dashing pilot Arun - Rajesh Khanna loves Vandana Tripathi - Sharmila Tagore, they become very intimate, and as a result Vandana gets pregnant. Arun and Vandana have a quiet wedding ceremony in the temple, and Arun leaves to re-join his duties. Unfortunately, Arun is killed, and Vandana is unable to convince anyone of her marriage with him, and as such must re-locate to hide her shame. She gives birth to a baby boy, whom she must place in an orphanage to be adopted. Unfortunately for her, the boy, Suraj, is adopted by someone else. She manages to find out their whereabouts, and gets a job as a servant. When she is about to be molested by Shyam, a relative, Suraj witnesses this, and kills him. Vandana takes the blame for this killing and is sentenced to imprisonment, leaving her son and her life behind, for a crime she did not commit. When she returns everything has changed, and she is unable to locate the family where her son was. Fantastic music and a dashing leading man aside, the main reason why Aradhana works is perhaps because of the wonderful story line and direction.

Winner of 3 Film Fare Awards for Best Film, Best Actress - Sharmila Tagore & Best Male Singer - Kishore Kumar.

Garage (2007)

Synopsis:
