Chor Bazar (1954)

Synopsis:
Circa the Mughal Rule in the Persian Gulf, a noble man asks his soldiers to bring a man trustworthy enough to commit a crime. The soldiers go to the Chor Bazar, where they find a beggar-cum-thief, Yusuf Ustad, and bring him before the noble man. The noble man asks Yusuf to abduct and kill the child, who will be the future king. Greedy Yusuf accepts the offer, but is unable to kill the cherubic child, and ends up abducting him, leaving evidence in blood to show that the child has been killed. The young prince is thus brought on to the streets of this Chor Bazar where he will grow up, and be destined to spend the rest of his life as a thief and beggar.

Satyakam (1969)

Synopsis:
Satyapriya (Dharmendra) studies Engineering and is close friends with fellow collegian, Narendra (Sanjeev Kumar) in pre independent India. Satyapriya values the truth above all else and lives life with honesty and integrity. During his first assignment as an engineer, he meets Ranjana (Sharmila Tagore) who is preyd upon by a debouched Prince, the employer of Satyapriya. Despite the obvious awareness that Ranjana loves him, Satyapriya hesitates in rescuing her, letting her become prey of the morally corrupt Prince. The incident shakes the moral foundation of Satyapriya who has betrayed his conscience and to redress the mounting guilt he marries Ranjana. Later Satyapriya takes up a number of jobs, but due to his convictions he is uable to settle down in a corrupt and unjust work environments. Satyapriya gets shunned by his grandfather for marrying Ranjana who is daughter of a courtesan. Narendra and Satyapriya meet each other which lead to confrontation when Narendra instructs Satyapriya to compromise with his ideals.

Synopsis:
Originally from India, Tamil-speaking Shekar Subramaniam lives a middle-classed life abroad along with his wife, Sonia, and a school-going son, Prateek. While Sonia is busy writing a book on converting all female-related expletives to male, her husband is employed with Barron Industries, where the owner insists his staff come up with a plan to launch the ultimate video game or else he will change his organization to a restaurant and hire them as waiters. Hoping to create a super-hero, Shekhar instead faces criticism from Prateek - who hopes to instead see a kick-ass villain. This conversation does change Shekhar's thinking and he sets about to create an indestructible villain, calls him Ra.one (pronounced as in Lankeshwar Ravan) and its arch-enemy G.One (Jeevan). Prateek will have to regret passing on this idea on to his father - for soon their lives will be shattered when the shape-shifting Ra.One will find a way to enter the real world.

अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले सरकारले हजारौं रोपनी सार्वजनिक जग्गा व्यक्ति वा संस्थालाई बाँड्दै आएको तथ्य भर्खरै सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। उता सुकुम्बासीले सरकारी जग्गा अतिक्रमण गरेको भन्दै वर्षेनी सयौं घरमा सुरक्षाकर्मीले आगजनी गरेका समाचार पनि आइरहन्छन्। सरकारले नै कतिपयलाई भोग अधिकारका लागि जग्गा दिने, उता कतिपयले भूमिहीन भन्दै सरकारी जमिन अतिक्रमण गर्ने हो भने सार्वजनिकको जग्गाको संरक्षण गर्ने ?
