Synopsis:
April 1994
During the war in Bosnia, letters were a rare treasure, passed entirely on trust to strangers.
Teacher
Sadil Mehmedmovic provided Tuzla's only postal service. We follow Sadil
on his round, visiting shell-shocked towns and villages. There wasn't a
proper postal service for over two years, but the underground service
was astonishingly reliable. For Nazlija Delic the postal service was a
godsend as she awaited news of her sons: one was fighting on the front,
another was wounded, and a third was a prisoner of war.
