Synopsis:
The arrival of World War 1 marked the beginning of modern global warfare. In it's aftermath, the United States saw a major economic boom marked by widespread prosperity known as the "Roaring Twenties," the latter half of which is referred to as the "Golden Twenties." The glorious decade came to a fateful end on October 29, 1929 when a major stock market crash known as "Black Tuesday" occurred and wiped out the wealth of many citizens, resulting in a downward spiraling economy and the beginning of The Great Depression.
