Synopsis:
Raj Kapoor was a multi talented genius who set up his own production
house called 'R.K.Films' at the age of 23 and produced & directed
his own films besides acting in them as well.He won lot of accolades
round the world for making some wonderful classics which are even
revered today.He was also known as 'Charlie Chaplin' of indian cinema
often portraying cheerful tramp in his films.His film 'Awaara' has
always been my all time favourite and very close to my heart which i saw
in 1951 when it was released at the age of 14.The films was way ahead
of its times and started a new beginging and thought in film making in
india.
This is a very rare interview which was broadcast in 1985 in
the UK three years before his sad demise in 1988, suffering from
