Synopsis:
In a world where humanity cannot escape its true nature of thirst for violence and destruction, where people escape reality in a virtual space called Avalon. Players access the game through special equipment that transmits the virtual reality to their cerebral cortex. Avalon is a world where people can accomplish everything they can't in a real war. The story takes place in a barren desert like battlefield, resembling a devastated world after a nuclear war, where giant Sand Whales called Sunakujira roam. The drama centers on a sniper who pilots a camouflage fighter plane; a sorcerer who can freely transform herself; a woman fighter equipped with an assault rifle on a horseback; and a large framed man equipped with an anti-tank rifle. There is also the "Game Master" who watches the players from the air.
