A documentary on the Gadhimai Festival (written in Nepali : गढीमाईको मेला) is celebrated in Banke district western Nepal. This festival is characterised by a huge participation of people, worshipping of Bhagwati, a Hindu Goddes of Power and a mass slaughter of cattle, especially male Buffalos. It is estimated to offer around 7000 animal in a day.
