The title is derived from Rabin speaking at the ceremony of the Olso Accords signing at the Whitehouse.
Like an open wound that will not heal, the Arab-Israeli conflict refuses to be resolved. Acclaimed documentary producer and director, Isidore Rosmarin, and co-producer, Jeff Helmreich, have made BLOOD AND TEARS- the definitive film on this seemingly irresolvable conflict. Rosmarin uncovers the truth beneath the hype and the headlines. Rosmarin and his team of Middle East experts have gone right to the source: the ministers and mullahs, the fanatics and peaceniks, the soldiers and terrorists, and the ordinary families battling extraordinary forces as they try to live a normal life. They have interviewed top officials from both sides, from former Israeli Prime Ministers to senior Palestinian officials to the leaders of the militant extremist group Hamas, Sheikh Bitawi and the late Dr. Abdel aziz Rantisi. They have also interviewed renowned Mideast scholars Bernard Lewis & Fouad Ajami and the foremost Palestinian scholar, Rashid Khalidi. BLOOD AND TEARS explores the origin of the confrontation itself, and challenges many of the deep-rooted myths we all hold about this epicenter of human conflict.

Kaavalan (2011)

After facing many hurdles, the much-hyped Kaavalan has been released. The movie starring Vijay and Asin Thottumkal is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bodyguard. The lead stars, who created magic in Sivakasi and Pokkiri, has been in the trouble for various reasons and they need a big hit to vanish all those bitter memories. Now, let us see what they have offered.

Vijay has made his strong comeback with this film. He has given an excellent performance. His mannerisms, comic timing, dances and powerful performance in the climax steals the show. As usual, Vijay-Vadivelu tickle the funny bones of the audience with their antics. Asin has done justice to her role and her chemistry with the actor has impressed the audience again. Rajkiran. Roja, Mithra Kurian are okay.Vidyasagar's music and N. K. Ekambaram cinematography are also commendable. However, the story looks weak at parts. The director should have worked a lot more on the script. Though, he has made some changes to suit Vijay's image, still there are many loop holes in the film.

Years later, at a fateful time in their lives, he realises that he has to chose again, between keeping his friendship and going after the love of this life.

Similarly, Ashna faces the choice between true to herself and doing the right by her family and society. Love demands sacrifice, they all learn: the bigger sacrifice, the sweeter the reward, sometimes as freedom, and sometimes as the knowledge that the person you kove has gained everything you'd wish for them.

When son grew up he left the small town he and his father lived in to study in the Moscow Conservatory leaving his past behind. But one day he has to choose either to loose his father or everything he has achieved.
"Papa" realistically presents details of the Soviet realities from the 1930s to the middle of 1940s in Moscow and a small provincial town, as well as the tragic fate of many Soviet citizens including the victims of Holocaust during the long four years of WWII (Great Patriot War). Gandhi My Father ()

Synopsis:
This film is one of the best films made in India also on the life of Gandhi ji. But it does not cover his spiritual life, his honesty towards seeking the truth and almighty directly. But this incident of his life itself tells a great deal about his tough journey towards the truth. A lot negative has been written about him now a days by the journalist and all such intellectuals. Actually these people cannot believe that a simple human being can become so great in one life. Even after this film so much was written against him and his love for his son was questioned. But one thing I would like the people to know who watch this film. somewhere I read about a great saint that one should be swarthi. swarthi which is made of two words i.e. swa means spirit and arth means meaning, means know the meaning of your spirit. That is anything coming in your way towards god should be left, one should be selfish while seeking the god and any weakness or anything coming in your way should not be put heed to. And when I saw this movie I remembered this saying. It is not he wouldn't have tried to save his son from weaknesses but you can go up to only an extent then you have to return to your safety for your journey. which is really impossible for most of us. Most of us fell pray to our weaknesses. And mostly in case of spirituality. This movie actually tells what it takes to become mahatma. Even prophet Ibrahim had to sacrifice his son to overcome his attachment for his son. I think prophet Ibrahim's killing his own son was not a big deal because he was at a height of greatness totally one with god. It was just a play to tell that attachment (moh) is one of the weakness what stops to reach the truth.

World War II: When Lions Roared (1994)

Synopsis:
This is great entertainment and great historical drama. It is based upon actual cables between Washington, London, and Moscow during the Second World War, and deals almost exclusively with the relationship between the leaders of these countries throughout the war. Franklin Roosevelt (played by John Lithgow), Winston Churchill (Bob Hoskins) and Josef Stalin (Michael Caine) spring to life as real but imperfect people who nevertheless are great leaders fighting a great war. Incidentally, the film focuses almost solely on the European war--the war against Japan is largely in the background, which has the effect of causing the film to somewhat diminish America's contribution to the war. This is a minor quibble, however. This is a wonderful film.
The miniseries does a wonderful job of juxtaposing dialog between the great war leaders with actual footage of combat scenes from the war. It tells a great story in a highly entertaining fashion, and does a splendid job of showing the viewer some of the problems, controversies, and arguments between the allied powers while the three leaders struggled to hold together the greatest coalition of nations in history.
